CIE/GSR Bulk Grain Wagon Ranks Ireland Post 1963 Grey

The Great Southern Railways introduced 12 Bulk Grain Hoppers 16400-11 in 1935 and a further 8 wagons of the same design for Ranks Ireland 1-8 in 1938. These wagons were of modern design using rust resistant steel for the hopper body and remained in regular service until the ending of wagon load grain traffic during the mid 1970s.

Body and chassis 3D printed in a resilient resin with ABS properties. Markits 3H disc wheels and tension lock couplers in NMRA pocket.
