July is turning out to be a momentous month with the completion of the first batch of CIE Brake Vans (just over 12 months since we started the project https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/8746-jm-design-cie-20t-goods-brake-preview/) and a new website.
We are sending sample vans to model railway clubs in Ireland & the UK so modellers can see the finished article and to magazines for review.
We expect to have decorated samples of the brake vans with the post 1963 wheel logo and the bulk grain wagons in Ranks Ireland and CIE livery complete by mid August. In the longer term we are developing our own 3D printing capability, while working with our suppliers to improve the quality and consistency of our SLA printed models.
We expect to start shipping the 52 Class locomotive kit in approx. two weeks with the "Tin Van" kits expected during August/September. Although the majority of these kits were pre-sold a small number of Luggage & Post Office Vans will be released for sale on this channel.
